A safe beach for the whole family at the foot of the Hôtel de la Plage.
Fine sandy beach with numerous sports and relaxation activities. This beach is protected from the waves by 3 dikes and is located right in the town center. It’s ideal for swimming with children. Four beach clubs and rental companies offer tents, umbrellas and deckchairs. The beach is equipped with Handiplage and Audioplage.
The little Rhune train
Built in 1924, the Petit Train à Crémaillère takes you up the slopes of La Rhune in 35 minutes, at a speed of 8 km/h, all the way to this legendary peak in the Basque country.
The coastal path
The coastal path links Bidart to Hendaye over 25 km through three environments (urban, mixed, natural) with ocean views. Eight access points and six interpretation stations cover themes such as surfing, fishing and geology.
